Lorant Varga, Chief Executive Officer

Lorant Varga joined CBS Property in January 2010. Before joining the company he has worked for over 20 years in the banking and real estate industry. Lorant started his carreer at ABN AMRO Bank where he held different positions in Brazil, Netherlands, Hungary and Belgium. In 2003 he became the managing director of CBRE in Hungary. From 2006 until 2009 Lorant worked for Trigranit Development Corporation as CEO of the company. Since 2004 Lorant is member of the board of the Netherlands – Hungarian Chamber of commerce. Gábor Soóki-Tóth, Director of Real Estate

Gábor Soóki-Tóth joined CBS Property in 2006. His responsibilities include planning, land maintenance and exploitation management. He holds degrees from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE) (Dipl. Arch., 1993) and Nottingham Trent University (MSc in Real Estate, 1999). Starting his career at the Institute for Urban Studies at BUTE, he later joined the Budapest office of Dutch firm, Kolpron Consultants where he was promoted in 2001 to become joint managing director and partner of the new local entity, ECORYS Hungary. Gábor’s experience has seen him advise leading international developers, investors and financial institutions operating in Hungary and in the wider Central European region. Such advice includes market research, development appraisal and urban planning as well as policy work and extensive studies in urban regeneration for the Municipality of Budapest and the European Investment Bank. Alongside this, Gábor has also held various teaching positions at BUTE, the Corvinus University and the Central European University Business School. Tamás Turák, Finance Manager

Tamás began his career with Arthur Andersen in 1999 as a tax consultant. He joined Ernst & Young in 2002 when the practices combined. As a tax manager he worked with clients from the real estate, retail and banking sectors and was also a member of the transaction tax team. Tamás then joined KFKI-LNX, an IT subsidiary of the Magyar Telekom Group, as a management consultant. Most recently Tamás spent two years as a finance manager with Eiffel Holdings, a real estate development company in Hungary. He holds an MSc degree in economics and business administration from Lajos Kossuth University, Debrecen. Tamás joined CBS Property in April 2009. Click here to email me.

Dávid Havas, Real Estate Development Manager

Dávid studied at Technical University prior to starting his career with construction company, Strabag Zrt., in 2002 as a Site Engineer. While working, Dávid continued his education at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences until 2005. He then joined Raiffeisen Ingatlan Zrt. where he worked as a project manager responsible for tenant management, project acquisition and full-scope project management. He has been involved in a number of high-profile real estate developments in Hungary such as Arena Corner Office Centre, Premier Outlets Center, Csörsz Office Centre and Viktória Park Logistic Centre.
